Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. 3 quarts burned a week is beyond my comprehension really. I cannot even imagine an internal engine concern burning this much. Are you certain of your meausrement? How many miles do you drive in a week? In any case, internal engine valve guide leakage or cylinder ring issues could cause excessive oil consumption.
