My car wont start for a half hour or so after being driven.crazy idling up & down
What is your question?
Car fires right up when its cold but if i drive it fhen shut it off it wont restart. I wait a half hour or more it cools down then it fires up again. It also idles low and idles high. Fluctuating. If im in gear it will stall when i stop. If i turn 9n my AC it will stall. The AC Sucks all the power and it just dies. I overheated it a week or so ago and just afterthat it all started . I got 7 codes all to do with sensors...throttle position, maf, both high and low, idle control as well. And one something to do with manifold butbi thinkni have a little exhsust leak so that could be for that
What makes this problem better or worse?
It runs okay and fires right up when its cold as soon as it warms up the rpms are all over the place while idling and it wont start til it cools down..
How long has your 1999 Mazda Protege had this problem?
Right after my car overheated badly one day.
