Ok, took it by Auto Zone and they scanned it, got code P0455 and their definition is as follows:
EVAP control system leak detected - large leak Probable cause:
1. Faulty fuel cap
2. Canister faulty
3. Purge valve solenoid faulty
4. Damaged/leaking EVAP hose
6. Faulty EVAP leak detection pump
My brother looked at the cap and said there was nothing wrong with it. Could it still be a problem if there are no visible defects?
