Engine idles too high and runs after key is removed
What is your question?
This is a 2006 Mazda MPV. The check engine light sporadically comes on and goes off again. Occasionally the low oil pressure light comes on. I never used to hear the engine running but now it sounds like it's idling too high and has started to occasionally continue to run after the key is removed. After googling some information, maybe it's not the engine sounding like that but rather the cooling fan?? It was recently worked on at a mechanic shop and they replaced the oil pressure switch and purge valve. Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated.

A high idle could be a vacuum leak so check over hoses and lines under the hood. The oil pressure issue needs to be checked with a mechanical gauge and I wouldn't drive the car until that's complete.
