Hello, you've got a few things going on here, spurred on by a situation where your engine overheated, or is continually overheating. A temperature gauge at "full hot" is a very bad thing to have happen. Internal engine damage may have -- and likely has -- occurred, and from the sounds of it, your transmission could also be affected. As a note, if your temperature gauge goes to hot -- stop the vehicle! Continuing to drive it is only causing likely irreparable damage. You will definitely need a proper diagnosis after everything has cooled down to determine the extent of the damage.
