What is your question?
The engine cranks and it cantake a long time before it sounds like it is starting to fire than does start up, but sluggish when in gear. I know this is bad on the starter, not to mention it wears out batteries, but the mech said I needed to replace about 6 different sensors and such. It's driving me nuts, I keep getting all sorts of advice but nothing seems to work. I did have to jump it a few times and I'm thinking I might have burned something out since I know jumping is not good. Any suggestions out here?

You may have a failing fuel pump. Replacing a handful of sensors is not the way we fix cars. We diagnose the problem and fix a particular failure. Find a mechanic who knows to diagnose a car before you start replacing things blindly. All the sensors in the car won't fix a bad fuel pump, which is first thing I think of. The first thing I'd do is check the fuel pressure and whether there's good spark. Find a Mazda specialist and don't let anyone who wants to throw sensors at a starting problem touch your car.
