cx9 navigation display pannel gone dark

What is your question?

The navigation display has gone to half its original brightness , very hard to see display. Happened while I was driving two days ago and checked brightness setting and reset to original default no change.

Hello, check for a control on your dash for ensuring that your headlights are not turning on while during the day, which would make it dark. Also the dash display lights in general, not related to the navigation brightness controls.
