The car was running. I pulled out the dipstick to check the oil. The car died. It will not start back. What could be the problem
How long has your 2008 Mazda CX-9 had this problem?
Just now

Hello, Removing the dipstick actually causes a small vacuum leak, and there may be trouble codes stored on the engine control module (ECM) that you can read with a code reader. A vacuum leak should not have stalled the engine, so I think checking the PCV valve would be a good course of action.
