Symtoms: I have white smoke coming from exhaust pipe when idle. This caused me to fail CA smog inspection. Is this Head Gasket Leak or could it be Turbo just burning oil? Do I pull intercooler pipe off to see oil burning in turbo?

If its using lots of oil leaan toward the turbo seals if its loosing coolant do a compression test this should get you pointed in the right direction also smell the smoke a sweet smell is coolant
