Buying a used Mazda Cx-7 but not sure if 2007 has timing belt or timing chain?

Oh it does have issues, a common issue it that it stretches out. I am having mine replaced at 125k miles. this loose chain can create big problems if left alone.

The engine in the CX-7 has a timing chain. I would not imagine the need to ever service or replace it.
