When ever I start to accelerate up a hill my truck seems to hesitate or miss. sometimes really bad. I have changed the plugs and wires 3 time in two weeks and doesnt seem to matter. Yes the check engine light is on. Any suggestions?

you need to identify the cylinder and start from scratch. do a compression test to verify enough compression. you changed the plugs and wires. what about the coil?? measure the resistance of the injector. it should be no less than 11 ohms. compare the reading to the others. if you have a vaccuum guage. measure the vaccuum at idle and look for any variation that may indicate an bad valve. it is not as simple as it sounds.
