How hard is it to change the ball joints in this truck,and is it needed?

it is both of them

remove the nuts on the ball joints then scerw the nuts back on a couple of turns then hit the contorl arm until the ball jonts pop loose if the control arms are aluminum then you should use a pickle fork to try and bust them loose
