truck starts wont go into gear manual transmission

What is your question?

The last time I went to drive my truck it started up but when I went to put it into gear it wouldn't go. I have a manual transmission, no sensors are on and it drove fine less than 12 hrs earlier. The clutch did seem a little loose but not to sure if something is loose or has broken connection. My shifter would also not even go into position only neutral. Any help on what this could be?
