truck engine skips on acceleration?

No the skip did not go away after I drove the truck 10 miles and parked it. Yes the engine check light would come on and then off, did not stay on continually.

probably a misfire condition caused by an individual cylinder misfiring or an o2 sensor fail. Need to get code read to find cause.
