okay amma do that i think ur right becuz i hear a hissen frm the left side and i cant feel no air or see nothin and it not plastic it the intake manafold and it lik curves n circle so wait theres hoses underneath becuz i jacked up my car wenht under neath and was feelin around still nothin i kno it cant bge da intake manafold gasket becuz the hissin way loud

I've seen the intake manifold gasket fail on these engines a lot. with the engine running get a squirt can with engine oil in it. Squirt oil along the joint between intake manifold and the cylinder head. If the idle speed changes or smooths out you have found the source of the problem. It is more difficult to find a leak at the bottom of the intake manifold gasket. I jack up the car and use propane with a hose attached to it. Moving the hose around the lower area of the manifold with the hose emitting propane, if the idle speed picks up as you move the hose around the joint between the manifold and cylinder head again you've found the leaking portion of the gasket.
