check engine light flashes and engine jerks

More than likely it's misfiring, (flashing chk light)

I have the same problem. After research found that transmission of mazda has a lifespan of only 90k to 130k. Now my car has 130k and transmission cannot change gears and torque converter issues. Cost for me is $1300. Let me know what you found.
