I let the car idle in the driveway for 21 minutes with the ac on. After approximately 21 mins the temp gauge started moving toward half. I observed that the radiator fan/coolant fan failed to move or turn on. I visually checked the relay located under the hood near the battery (30 amp) but it appears to be ok. I turned to engine off as to not allow the car to overheat.
