Why are my cooling fans not coming on. On a Mazda 6 2008 4 cylinder engine

. Perfectly normal for radiator cooling fans to remain OFF for quite a long time! .. May take 20 minutes or longer for fans to turn on while observing idling engine .. Telltale sign of inop fans is engine overheating while idling in park or in stop and go traffic - *observe temperature gauge*.. Turning on A/C should turn on fan for condenser cooling - check to see if that occurs. Otherwise seek assistance from qualified personnel for proper *hands-on* diagnosis. Good luck!
