Rail dust in door molding

What is your question?

Stared getting rail dust on the Lower half of door moldings...how to remove it? Didn't know what it was, tried wax and compound to remove it with no sucess. Researched it and found out it was rail dust

How long has your 2007 Mazda 6 had this problem?
