Why does my car make a loud noise on the passenger side when I take off?

If it is a repetitive noise that continues with engine speed, it could be a noise from the engine itself, or an accessory drive component (alternator, pulley, air conditioning compressor and so on...). If the noise happens only with vehicle movement, then it is likely from wheel or suspension components. If it's a rattle that is inconsistent with vehicle movement or engine speed but random, it could be steering and suspension related or mounting related.
