What is your question?
Car idles smooth (~700rpm) all around until brake is applied and not moving. When you let the brake off idle goes back to normal. I've confirmed this by letting it idle in gear with parking brake on. I initially cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor with no change. All my internet research is pointing towards a vacuum leak in the brake booster. I've had a helper apply the break while listening and I can't really hear a leak anywhere. Can I get some guidance on how to proceed to find this leak and fix it? Thanks.

Having the exact same issue. Arriving at the same conclusion. Did you find out if it was the break booster?
My Mazda 5 is doing the same thing. Idles a bit low causing car to vibrate when the brake is applied while stopped. Releasing the brake while the parking brake is engaged results in the idle going back to normal. It does take a second or two for the idle to change when the brake is pressed or let go. Anyone have luck finding the culprit?
I should add, it only does this while the (automatic) transmission is drive, if I put the car into neutral or park while the brake is pressed, the idle goes to normal and the vibrations go away.
Upon further testing I was able to cause this low idle condition without pressing the brake pedal. I found that if I use the emergency brake to slow down to a stop the engine will experience this low idle situation when the car gets below a certain speed (somewhere under 10MPH - I didn't note exactly) but is not yet stopped. So this seems to be happening in two instances so far; 1) stopped while in gear with brake pedal pressed, 2) very low speed but not yet stopped with either brake pedal pressed -OR- the e-brake being used. I think this would eliminate a brake booster vacuum leak (and I tested around the vacuum hose but couldn't find or hear a leak anyhow) since I can replicate it without using the power brakes.
Were you able to find the cause?
