What is your question?
My 2006 Mazda 5 won't start. I put the key in and everything on the dash lights up perfectly fine but when i go to turn the key it won't turn over, in fact it won't even make a noise. The battery is recently new and seeing how the dash lights up I don't think it is the problem, I had read that it could possibly be because a fuse or relay has been blown? F7, F10 and 12 (Starter Motor Relay) are what I was told could be the problem, I'm hoping this is the case for it would be a cheap and easy fix. Can anyone tell me if I am on the right track? Or any other suggestions? Thank you
How long has your 2006 Mazda 5 had this problem?
4 consecutive days.

I would certainly check fuses. But check all of them. It is quick to do with a test light. If the lights normally go out when you crank the engine, and they are staying on when you turn the key to start now, I would test the ignition switch. Security light on?
How do I test the ignition switch? Unsure if the security light is on or not.
You can test it manually by removing it and testing for continuity in each position. Otherwise, you can backprobe the connector to test the values in each position. The security light would indicate that you are locked out.
Should I just buy a DMM then? Can it do all the work that a test light can do and more? How do I backprobe the connector exactly?
Both is best. You backprobe by sliding pins (or paperclips) into the back of the connector while it is still connected to the component. If you place them in the same hole as the wire you wish to probe, you can make contact with the terminal.
