can I replace my heated pcv valve with a non-heated one????

I did not ask what was the BEST solution. I asked if the non heated pcv valve will fit my car? The only reason for a heated pcv valve is in cold climents it is heated so that the pcv valve does not freeze and stop working. I live in the south where the temp rarely gets below freezing so I don't need that feature. I have removed the wire to the pcv valve and the computer does not throw a code. MY main question IS IF I buy the non heated pcv valve will the physical diminations be the same with NO modifications? Thank you bob79
