What is your question?

I removed my original post about the 'intake manifold' on this 4.6L engine... Good luck with that one!!!!!!... . I guess just you can't help some people out anymore, that's sad!
if its a blown head gasket there will be antifreeze in your oil check your dip stick. check for factory recall on the intake manifold gasket . try replacing thhat gasket if that dont fix it do what the other guy said if your block was cracked you would have lost oil too. and did you inspect your hoses and radiator and your radiator drain plug?
I have no idea where to even look for them! But when I am looking at the engine, there is a small puddle of water on the inside of the engine
is their water or green liqiud on your oil dipstic which woild otherwise be a pretty brownish red or nasty black or if you cant see it instead of a rag wipe he dip stic with your hand when it isnt hot does it feel watery grimy or like oil to no the feel of what plain engine oil with nothing in it try some out of the oil can dip you finger in it if your engine is cold the oil off the dip stic should feel just the same if their is water in it youll feel the difference if there is water in it no need for all the tests your head gasket is blown . not the valave cover gasket which is the firsrbig gasket from the top down its the next level down this for the home mechanic isnt to difficult if you domt know exactly where it is get a machanic. and is it worth the cost of the repair. because once you are replacing the head gasket you very possibly could have cracked your block and to the average guy they might not be able to visually see the crack when replacing the gasket . and if your bloc is cracked it can only be replaced gorilla glue doesnt work here one day maybe but not today so if you know what you are doing you can just replace the bloc and use parts off your old motor saving a few bucks but costing all your time replace the whole motor but is the car worth the 3 to 4 grand that will cost in parts alone or if your lucky its just a gasket. good luck ! if there is water in your oil check the cooling system thats a somewhat cheaper fix and faster too however in todays cars you cant just bypass your a.c. so if it is there again get a mechanic but first rule out the head gasket and radiator itself and your hoses. it probly will cost 60 to 8 bucks for the local shop to diagnose your cooling system if your head and bloc dont need checked by them .. for them to check your dipdtic they probly chatge ya a hundred bucks...
Just made it back to the house, checked the oil. There is no water in it. Does that always rule out the head gasket? And I am also looking at the intake manifold and dont see any cracks, could it just be that my water pump has gone out?
lets rule that out or in gtab your fan firm ...do not break it make sure the engine isnt running too now wiggle the fan wiggle it at the neck not the blades if it wiggle it could very possibly be your wp. now if it doesnt wiggle .. your ac system has a teeny weeny mini mi radiator right around the radiator usually visually inspect that and the lines . when you run your ac is it cooling? is the blower motor running.. now if you dont see anything dripping around your ac system and if your water pump doesnt wiggle you have done everything the average guy can do to figure it out and great job.. really . but since im not there cant see or here or well u know its time to take it to the shop. if your block is cracked that would be odd with no water in your oil and oil in your auto head gasket on that note to. if you can also check the pressure in your ac that would help and in your ac system there is condensation and sometimes that can drip on the ground . o when you saw the fluid did you check your radiator and overflow inside for fluid odd i ask but your ac can leave a puddle under your car thats reallsy just a sign it needs serviced there may be just that.. especially if your car runs great with the puddle...under.. hAVE YOU BEEN USING YOUR AC? AND IF ITS THE AC DONT PANIC THAT DRIP MIGHT NOT BE ANYTHING AT ALL BUT A REQUEST FOR SOME GAS IN HER TOO! YOU CAN GET A KIT MAYBE TO DO IT AT HOME BUT I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THAT WITHOUT PRiER KNOWLEGE AND TOOLS AS cars today rely as much an that ac to run as they do the intake and exhaust. dont disconnect it just spend the dollars and take it in.. let me know what you find...
I found the leak! It's the metal hose right behind the alternator. I could do a temp fix until I get paid tomorrow!
pefect and simple now are ya glad ya didnt spend alot of money at the shop!!!! and on parts ya didnt need! yaya! its called a bypass hose. easier to get the part if ya no what it is!
Thank you so much! Wouldnt have known what to look for if it wasn't for you! And is icalled a heater hose at the store? Is it the same thing?
the parts guy will know if you explain where it is and or if you bring it in to the store with you and your welcome im very glad you took the time to look for it yourself all to often we go to the repair shop and pay way to much for something we are quite capable of doing ourselves I sometimes don't have the words but I can draw a picture about where to look and how to fix it and I went to school for this stuff so I understand .. im very happy I could help
Took it to a mechanic, they would have to change the manifold, change ghe heating coil, and the bypass hose. The overall parts and labors cost was at 1, 415 dollars :/ but like I said! Thank you! I cant even express it!
What if your car leaking coolant from the passenger side in front of the tire??
