What is your question?
It seems that my Lincoln Town Car is only running on 5 6 7 8. I switch to fuel injectors on one side to the other with same result. Just turned out new plug wires. And starting issue was poor performance and heavy black smoke
What makes this problem better or worse?
Don't know
How long has your 1994 Lincoln Town Car had this problem?
Been trying to figure out what the problem is for 2 months

Seems -- or is it? I would find it hard to imagine that you could sustain running at all if 4 cylinders were "dead". Base compression test is needed. Cylinder balance test. Relative compression test. Check for spark at all cylinders. Did the problem just occur -- after use of new wires? Are wires routed properly and attached to proper cylinders? Are they Motorcraft (Ford) wires?
Ignition spark - - Proper fuel delivery - - Compression - - - Which one is not present?
Assuming plug wires have been placed in correct firing order. Good luck!
