I cannot get the passenger side door to unlock what can i try ?

If it won't open using the *inside* door handle.. The lock actuator will have to be replaced! .. Unless you're pretty car savvy, have it replaced.. It's tricky, but can be disabled (unhooked) with door closed!.. Then door can be opened for repair.
