Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Sounds like the "door ajar" indicator is on, suggesting that one of the vehicle doors is not fully closed. If all the doors are indeed closed and this light remains on, one of the door switches may be stuck in then "open" position. A diagnostic tool with body control module interfaces can tell you which door or doors are showing open. You can go to each door and try to spray penetrating lubricant into each door latch - which is where Ford and Lincoln typically have their door ajar switches located, and try to open and shut the door multiple times to see if it makes the light turn off.
