How often should I change the oil in my Navigator?

You will see the message on the message center like stated below when it is ready to be changed. This info is in your owners manual. Change Engine Oil Soon ::: Displays when the engine oil life remaining is 10% or less. Oil Change Required :: Displays when the oil life left reaches 0%. I don't have a message that pops up on my ole 2000 F150,so I put an oil change sticker on the windshield with current miles and change mine every 5000 miles,have went 10,000 miles and even a full year with a certain type oil and as of right now it has 340,000 miles on it! Go by your owners manual,not by what I do on mine.
