Hi! This is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! In my experience the brake lights are towards the rear of the car. I'm full of dad jokes and for that I apologize. All joking aside, to access the taillight assembly for replacement, you'll need to open the rear hatch or trunk and locate the housing on the inner side of the vehicle's rear corners. Once you locate the taillight assembly, you can remove the screws or clips securing the housing and then access the brake light bulbs for replacement. Be sure to replace them with bulbs of the correct type and size. Also make sure the bulbs seat well in their holders to prevent it not working properly or melting the socket. One last thought, if all of the taillight/brake light bulbs are out, there could be a bigger electrical issue. You can start with bulbs and work from there.
