If it were EGR operation that was causing poor running a Check Engine/Service Engine Light would be on as you drive. If it were a fuel or ignition problem it would probably be even more noticeable on constant acceleration or load. Inspect your tires for abnormal tire wear safest to have it professionally checked may be as simple as tire balance but hard to comment without being able to experience the problem first hand.
