My 2001 lincoln navigator will go in reverse but wont do anything in drive

Hello, ensure the fluid level is full and clean -- other than that, you likely have an internal problem. Testing using a proper diagnostic tool can ensure proper electronic operation and selection of gears, which on an outside chance could be at issue...but I think it's likely an internal issue.
