my 1999 navigator turns over but wont start the gas said 23 miles of fuel left

Hello, When the fuel tank gets too low, all of the sedimentary debris that is sitting in the bottom of the fuel tank will begin to clog the fuel system, specifically the fuel filter. This may are may not be the case, and you should certainly avoid letting the fuel tank get this low in the future. Have you checked the fuse for the fuel pump? Can you hear it running when you turn the key to "ON"?
