coil pack problem

Do you have 12 volts with key on engine off at on of the terminals at the coil (red/light green wire) the other wire gets grounded by the computer to trigger the coil. Make sure the wires are i tact, no rodent damage or abraded wires, bad connection ect... Try swapping the coil to another cylinder see if the problem follows the coil.

i imagine you had a missfire code. first thing is to verify compression with a guage. then examine the plug for cracking and burning. the coil boot is a common failure as well. the connector to the coil is also an issue because the lock clip often breaks off. you may have to have the coil scoped to see if it is functioning. you will need a shop for that. What is the problem you are having? Misfire codes for this cylinder? May be wiring to the coil, may be driver in computer for that coil, may be vacuum leak at that intake runner, there are different vacuum operated components that pull vacuum at intake runners.
