how to remove side mirror for motor access?

I want to remove the side mirror to access the mirror motor on my 2018 MKZ. I have seen many videos on mirror removal for other car models but none for the MKZ. I don't want to attempt the mirror plate removal using a incorrect procedure and ending up breaking the mirror. Is there a specific place I need to insert a screwdriver or procedure to pry it off?
