What is your question?
Hello my 2017 mkz was equipped with HID adaptive headlights… I upgraded the bulbs to D3S LED bulbs unfortunately right now my RH Headlamp bulb is burnt out whereas my LH is still working… with that being said since the RH light hasn’t been working the LH light has been shining directly on to incoming traffic… when I replace the RH bulb will the LH light adjust automatically back to it’s correct position? Or will I need to replace a module for the adaptive headlights to operate correctly?
What makes this problem better or worse?
N/A
How long has your 2017 Lincoln MKZ had this problem?
Since the replacement LED bulbs were installed

Hello, because these lights are maintained and operated by a lighting control module and are sensitive to voltages and output of bulbs, it's essentially required to use original equipment parts for replacement. Anything else is going to cause abnormal operation -- including what you're experiencing. There's no other answer - replace parts with original equipment parts and avoid modifications.
