What is your question?
2014 MKX Stereo will turn off and on by itself when vehicle is in operation. Stereo will turn on when the vehicle is parked and NOT on, causing the battery to fully drain and the vehicle will not be able to start unless it is jumped. I have resorted to taking out the 20V fuse that is for the Stereo and touchscreen console (radio, navigation, climate etc...) each time I park and then placing it back in place prior to starting the vehicle. The vehicle starts every time! The issue happens within 1 day if I keep the fuse in or sometimes 2 or 3 days or at the outside chance - 7 days. Does not matter how much I use the vehicle. 1 week, I did not use it and the vehicle started up fine. Then the next, it died 3 or more times within the same week. Everytime, I had to jump it.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Take the stereo fuse out each time I park the vehicle.
How long has your 2014 Lincoln MKX had this problem?

There are a number of service bulletins related to the "infotainment" or audio systems on this vehicle. I would strongly advise the help of a car audio specialist near you that works with original equipment audio units. It could be a software issue, it could be a hardware issue. You could also have a problem with the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) - or inputs to the FCIM which could prevent the audio unit from knowing it's time to shut down. The IDS Ford diagnostic tool (or equivalent) would be essential in assisting the diagnostic process to monitor component operation when things are supposed to be off. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
