abs brake peddle is hard when trying to stop.have to push hard to stop

If you are talking about a hard brake pedal during normal driving situations - It sounds like you might be having a power brake booster issue - One simple test you can try while sitting in the drivers seat - (Engine Not Running) Depress the Brake Pedal a few times and hold it down, start the vehicle while holding the brake pedal, when the vehicle starts, if the brake pedal falls away (Goes further towards the floor)the power brake booster is getting vacuum and working....If the Pedal stays the same, the power brake booster could be faulty or the vacuum source to the power brake unit could be interrupted.
