What is your question?
2011 Lincoln MKX, the a/c was working then it started blowing hot air on drivers side but passenger side was cold. Now both sides blow hot air. Tried recharging the system but mechanic said there was too much pressure in one side of the system. I’ve checked fuses and relays all seem to be fine. What can I do to fix it?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It’s worse when the system warms up.
How long has your 2011 Lincoln MKX had this problem?
Six plus months

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. The first thing I will share is that there is no such thing as "too much pressure in one side of the system". That's simply impossible - and makes me suggest to you that you need a new technician for your concern. There are a couple of possible things going on with your vehicle. The first thing is, the dual zone climate control system malfunctioning is what was causing one side to be warm and the other side cold. It's possible that now both sides are malfunctioning, but it could also be that the climate control system zone adjustment is malfunctioning as well as the refrigerant system. Hands-on testing by a qualified technician who knows what to do is what you need.
