PTU Replacement - really $1500??? Can it be done for less?

There are always option but if you plan is to keep the vehicle a factory replacement unit should be installed and although $1500 is reasonable you may we normally charge @$1290 plus tax. There have also been noise complaints from the rear differential that sound like PTU/Transfer case failure.
