What is your question?
My fuel cap light is on. I filled up this morning and it just came on around 7:00 p.m. I reopened it and closed it again. It is still on. Do I need to reset the computer

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! That fuel cap light on your 2007 Lincoln MKX is your car's way of saying, "Hey, I think there’s a small leak in the fuel system." Since you’ve already tightened the cap, the computer may take a bit to realize the issue is resolved—often, it’ll turn off after a few trips if the problem's fixed. If it stays on, the fuel cap itself could be faulty, or you might have a leak elsewhere in the EVAP system. You generally don’t need to reset the computer manually; just give it a little time.
