How do I remove the rear liftgate interior panel?

Interior panels utilize trim clips / pins as well as screws as fasteners. Obtain a good trim tool that will provide even pressure against the trim without damaging it that can be used to pry the panel away from the sheet metal, once all screws visible have been removed.
