Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! The summer is supposed to be hot, not your MKS! Since your MKS is still running hot despite replacing the water pump, thermostat, and radiator, there are a few areas you might want to check. First, make sure the cooling fans are operating correctly. If they aren’t kicking in when the engine gets hot, it could cause intermittent overheating. Next, inspect the head gasket for any signs of a leak, which could lead to overheating even with new cooling components. Sometimes, air pockets in the cooling system can cause issues, so ensure the system has been properly bled. Lastly, check for any blockages or restrictions in the coolant passages or hoses. Even a small blockage can impede flow and cause overheating. A more in-depth diagnostic might be needed to pinpoint the problem if all else fails.
