What is your question?
About three weeks ago, my car overheated really bad and smoke started coming from the hood and I heard a loud popping sound come to find out the clamp came off my coolant hose and on my coolant leaked out so I bought a new clamp put it back together. Filled it up with coolant and let it ran for a little bit and it was fine well last Tuesday I drove far and my car started to overheat so I stopped put coolant in it and let it sit the. once I got to my destination my fans would not cut off even after the vehicle was powered down so I spoke with someone and they told me to replace my coolant thermostat sensor and that’s what I did but my fans are still running.
How long has your 2009 Lincoln MKS had this problem?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. My first question is, what testing has been performed? You cannot simply guess at parts to replace; it's important to see what commands are being given, and if the components are following the commands. Then you need to see if the fans operate when commanded by actively turning them on and off using a diagnostic tool. Then you'll need to find out if the fans are not needed - why they are being commanded. I'm sorry you had the problem you did, but I'm wondering for starters if there is an air pocket in the cooling system - which seems to show an overheating boiling over condition but is merely an air pocket that must be purged? Beyond that, damage could have occurred during the previous overheat, so you'll need to check the integrity of all the related components including engine integrity. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
