Since you indicated "when hot", it seems to mean that when cold it starts fine. This would mean an intertia switch cannot be a problem, because it's never "intermittent" -- it's either tripped causing a no start, or it isn't. When the problem is occurring, you'll need to have testing performed: checking for fuel delivery and fuel pressure at the fuel rail, checking for ignition spark, and ensuring proper engine air intake is happening.
