What is your question?
Car was overheating and reducing power. After the overheat I found the thermostat housing cracked and leaking. I replaced the thermostat, housing, and water pump. No start. I went to the fuel system replaced the relay and checked the fuse. I also pulled/checked the fuel shut off switch all good. I replaced the fuel pump. I don’t know how to check for fuel from the pump. There is a port off of the regulator but don’t know if it’s a schrader type valve. If so I pushed a screwdriver in there and got nothing

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like your 2005 Lincoln LS is having a rough time, but you've already done a lot of the heavy lifting! That port you’re talking about is likely a Schrader valve, so your screwdriver test is valid—if you're not getting any fuel, the issue could still be in the pump or the fuel lines. Make sure the fuel pump is priming when you turn the key. You can also try using a fuel pressure gauge on that port to check if you're getting the pressure you need. If you’re still coming up dry, something could be blocking the flow or the pump might not be getting power. Hello, what leads you to think there is no fuel pressure? And, from a fuel delivery standpoint? There are multiple possible causes to your no start. Key anti-theft concerns... Keep in mind that the LS has a dual sump fuel tank. There is a fuel pump that feeds the engine, and then there's a "transfer" pump that balances both sides of the fuel. tank regularly to ensure the fuel pump has enough fuel as it gets low. Sometimes the transfer pump may not be doing its job - leaving you without fuel. In any case, don't mess with screwdrivers poking where they do not belong; that could become an issue as you could damage components. There are special tools needed to measure fuel pressure.
