i can put my key in the igntion but it want turn so i can start the car.what is my problem?

Check your key, if it looks worn try your spare key or a new key cut front the key codes - not a copy of the one you have now. If a new key will not work chances are your 2002 Lincoln LS will need a new ignition lock cylinder. In some cases the steering wheel lock can stop the key from turning. Try moving the steering wheel back and forth while turning the key.
It probably is the lock and key. It is also possible that the ignition switch could be bad keeping the key from turning. If the vehicle has a chipped in the key the computer will need to be reprogrammed after key lock and key replacement.
