While I am driving the check charging system light with the battery symbol comes on for about 30 seconds then goes back off. Nothing else seems to be wrong with the car it’s a Lincoln ls v8 2002

Hello, when this warning light comes on, it indicates a loss of charging system operation. Check the drive belt to ensure it's not slipping for some reason, like that a pulley is not locking up intermittently. Check the alternator to ensure output is good for voltage and amperage. And check the wiring connector to the alternator to ensure it is clean and not melted or damaged in any way.
