What could be the cause of several coil packs to misfire within 2 month?

My 2000 Lincoln LS V8, has been blown out coil packs for the last 2 months. My mechanic had to replace 5 coil packs within the last 2 months. They have had a misfire on my 1,2,3,4,and 7.
