Driver Power Seat Problem

What is your question?

My driver seat won't go forward or back without assisting it. Can the passenger seat be swapped for the drivers side or just the motor drive assembly?

Probably not as a unit, if you look carefully, they're different in important ways. You may be able to swap some mechanical parts but you'd have to remove both seats to compare and swap stuff.

HAD THAT PROBLEM AND DEALER COULD NOT FIND A SEAT MOTOR OR REPLACEMENT TRACK. DEALER WASN'T ALOT OF HELP. I WENT ON EBAY AND FOUND THE PART AND PAID THE DEALER $100. TO PUT IT ON. THE DEALER NO LONGER HAS THE PART AVALIABLE AND SAYS FORD STOPED MAKING IT IN 2008.
