Check Transmission Message

On a Jaguar that message means a transmission problem requiring major work (Jaguar and Lincoln shared common technology around then on some cars). A scan tool will be needed to retrieve codes stored in the computer of your car but make sure the scan tool used by the repair shop you bring your car has full Ford/Lincoln capabilities. Check the transmission for oil and perhaps have the transmission serviced if it has not been serviced in the last 30k.
